Lily of my heart

How wondrous that you came to be

Bringing all your love and sunshine

To all the friends and family you greet

There are no words that can define

The joy and happiness you bring

It’s like those smiles and laughter

Keep playing a tune on my heartstrings

Lily of my heart

Keeper of my hopes and dreams

Where will the future find you

Holding a guitar, writing a love song, or painting a picture of beautiful things

I guess we’ll have to be patient

As we watch you grow before our eyes

And discover the wonderments of the day to day

Walking hand in hand through your path in life
