I was young and lost

I didn’t have a clue

Just making my way through life

Sticking to what I knew

Then you came along

So beautiful and carefree

I remember it like it was yesterday

My love of 1980

Through the years life has been kind

We raised a family with a love so true

I couldn’t imagine sharing this world

With anyone other than you

And on this anniversary of 43 years

Though words may be quiet and few

Know that in my heart there beats

A loving tune that plays only for you
